Alicia Fingal
Human Development Director
Alicia has an undergraduate degree in Psychology from York University and a diploma in Early Childhood Education. Previously, she worked as a supervisor of a childcare centre, mentoring educators by supporting learning and development. She comes with over 10 years of experience working with families and children, specializing in behaviour management, child development, and staff training. Alicia is passionate about supporting the professional community, providing knowledge about adverse childhood experiences and the long-term effects of trauma. Child development, positive guidance strategies, and mental health awareness are topics she could spend the day learning and sharing information about. Alicia enjoys traveling with friends and family, participating in game nights, and spending time with loved ones. She has spent most of her life living in Ontario, and recently relocated to Alberta. She fell in love with the province during a summer trip, packed up, and drove across the country to settle here. She hopes to explore much more of Canada.
