Launa Clark
Director of Andagogy
Launa is a dedicated Andragogical Director and senior Facilitator with 30 years of experience training
people of all ages. Her unique blend of skills and passion empowers her to deliver outstanding results in
various curious and learning environments.
She has a Bachelor of Professional Arts in Human Services, a Diploma in Early Childhood Development,
and Certifications in Workplace Mental Health Leadership and Mindful Self-Compassion. Her journey as
a lifelong learner has resulted in additional certification in Creative and Critical Thinking Assessment and
as a Neurolinguistic Practitioner.
Launa believes in the teaching and healing power of play. Her playful leadership and facilitation style
create opportunities for open and honest conversations about hard things. She strives to connect
human to human and build a respectful curiosity and an inviting space to talk about the wisdom that
exists in each person she meets.
As a self-identified multipotentiality, she looks for opportunities to learn new skills and talk to people
who think differently. This mindset is the foundation of her ability to navigate complex projects,
champion individuals' stories and needs, and model her unwavering commitment to making a positive
impact in the field of human service.
Launa is located in Calgary and comes to the team with a depth of experience in adult education, curriculum development, and community engagement. Her expertise comes from teaching post-secondary and supporting provincial initiatives within human services sectors. Launa holds a Bachelor of Professional Arts in Human Services, an Early Child Development Diploma, and multiple related certificates in brain science, mental health, and creativity assessment. The heart of Launa’s work is based on her strong commitment to helping people be the best they can be for the people they care about. This passion starts with her large, blended family with her husband Mark and their seven children. She is often heard saying, “just add sunshine and water and I’m the best mom/grandma in the land.” She looks forward to meeting people across the county and learning how to better care for each other.
